Sometimes on the footbridge your foot and some of your furry pelt just get away from you.

Sometimes Things Get Away from You 
I wonder how that happened.
But it reminds me of a foxfur stole that my grandma [born 1898] had, that still had a foot attached.
It was passed-down from HER mom, born in Roman times or thereabouts.
The current owner never wears it.
